Big Ray's Burgers & Dogs: Gourmet Burgers and Loaded Hot Dogs in Camp Hill

Good food and shakes! Skip the fast food and come here! Customer service was quick and very attentive! Atmosphere felt dull. Could use some music to bring more life. Worth checking out. Highly recommend for a good fresh Burger!

I'm driving to Harrisburg and need lunch. I looked up hotdog joints, and this popped up in my Google search. You go in and are greeted by the staff. Then I was explained by the staff, everything I needed to know as it was my first visit. Everything is made fresh. At first, I thought the prices were a little high compared to other hotdog places. But I ordered two chili dogs and suicide fries. I get my food, and I realize the portions are pretty good-sized. So it's totally worth the money. My hotdog wasn't just a hotdog. This is what I call "gourmet," where it's a bigger hotdog and it's fully loaded up. Where it can get messy, so they give ya a fork. I was excellent! Suicide fries weren't that hot for a name like suicide. But, man, did they taste incredible. If I closed my eyes, I'd thought I was eating some really good wings. Almost made me wish I didn't order two hotdogs because, again, the portion of fries was very big for the cost. And that's what they called a small. A +++. I hope they continue to get business.

Nice quiet place. Plenty of food options. Great choices and prices. Everything was excellent. Fresh cut fries were awesome. (Could have been cooked a little longer) to my liking. BUT don’t let that sway you from getting them. They Mac & Cheese was great, creamy and warm! Just how ya like it! The burgers were good and tasty for sure! Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re hungry the wait wasn’t long for our food either!

My daughter and I were in the Mechanicsburg area, and wanted to eat at a local restaurant. I checked Google Maps for restaurants. The menu and reviews swayed us. The menu said you could make your entree a combo for an additional $4.50, and an add an extra party for $3 more. We both got the Rodeo Burger, but she got a single patty, and I got two patties. She got onion rings, and I got French fries, so we could share to try each. We each got a drink. Wow! The food is fantastic! The staff was very friendly, especially the owner. He thanked us and others for patronizing this fine establishment. They even gave each of us a free, homemade cupcake that the owner's daughter made. They were chocolate with peanut butter topping. They were moist and delicious! It is pricey -- just under $40 for the two of us -- and that was primarily due to not being charged properly to make the burgers into combos. Therefore, I paid ~$6 more than I should have. Even at the price that I paid, it is better than similar restaurants like Five Guys. The only issue that I had was the price. Highly recommend.

Stopped off at this burger and dog joint and it was well worth it. Tons of options on the menu to choose from between burgers and hotdogs, they also have options for appetizers and salads, and the kids menu. You can customize your burger however you would like I got the Hawaiian burger with a large fry and a small mac & cheese and all of it was fantastic packed with flavor And goodness. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.

Absolutely amazing burgers chicken and sides! Great friendly atmosphere and even better food. We took it to go cause we had to go to work but it held up even after the drive! I'm a sucker for a blue cheese burger but its often tough to find them. Low and behold not only did they have it but was one of the best versions of the burger I've had in a long time! My boyfriend and I will most definitely be back real soon!!

Food was absolutely gas!!!! I got the jr cheeseburger and it was the perfect amount for a quick lunch AND whole meal was under $10. Employees were welcoming and kind. Place was very clean and I had a nice view by the window. 100% will be coming back and bringing friends, can’t recommend this place enough, burger was a 10/10!!!!!

Easily the best burger and fries I’ve had in a very long time! Will most definitely be back! I got the black and bleu burger. AMAZING! My son got a cheeseburger and we split a large fry. HUGE order of fries! Cooked perfectly
